torquing rear stub axle castle nut

the big castle nut on the rear stub axles are about 250ish ft/lbs (sorry my manuals are with the car an hour and a half away so i dont have exact number on me). car is a 68 (swb)

how do you recommend torquing this down so its right? i do not have any multipliers and will not be able to get one before i can finish the job..

    thanks in advance,

    Harry

gotta leave for dayton to finish it up at 530. the car is in dayton since my best friend there has the garage space (i only have a one car), and he also has bearing and bushing presses.
