. . . . optional equipment: ventilated chrome wheels. COA matching 911. This was the 287th 911 produced for the 1967 manufacture year (MY).
Cosmetically restored low mileage SWB 911 with 168,279 miles. COA, historical documentation, drivers manual and tool kit included.
Body was striped to bare metal and glass out paint was accomplished using color match from Wilhoit in S. California. Without a doubt the Bahama Yellow paint is a 100% factory match. On reassembly all rubber seals were replaced. Factory original doors, fenders and F&R lids all line up with excellent gaps and open and close as intended. Front suspension pan and partial floor pan was replaced to ensure 100% structural integrity. No issues what-s0-ever!
This 911 retains most of the original interior with a new headliner, new perlon carpet and a flawless Autobahn Interior recovered dash installed. Floor mats are original and perfect. An original vintage Nardi steering wheel was added to compliment the interior. Blaupukt AM/FM radio and speaker function perfect. All electrics, gauges and warning lights function including the clock, but time is not accurate.
Glass is all original except a new front windscreen was installed and is wear free. Bright work of this 911 is all original and very nice considering it's age and a testament to German craftsmanship.
Documentation shows the motor was rebuilt at 102K. At the time of restoration motor was R&Red, clutch replaced, oil tank cleaned with new lines, all sheet metal and fan assembly refurbished, and carbs sent to Performance Oriented for a full restoration. Engine bay was fully detailed to OEM specs.
This very early 1967 MY production 911 came with the renown 901/05 motor. This motor is know to produce more HP (140HP+) than originally stated in factory documentation (130HP).
At present time this 911 rolls on 1968S MY 5.5 Fuch rims. Matching set of 1967 dated 5.5 steel rims that can be substituted for the Fuchs. Suspension was updated with Elephant racing bushings on all four corners and Sway-A-Way adjustable spring plates for quick rear adjustment were installed. Also, this 911 comes with a factory rear S sway bar. 911 is sitting about 2 inches lower that stock height. The original factory spring plates will accompany the car.
Original factory Kardex states sold on 6-11-67 at Baden-Baden Porsche W. Germany, which accounts for European locking steering option.
911 was driven to Rennsport Reunion IV from Arizona and logged 1695 flawless miles!

Very nice looking car you have for sale! I am not a buyer but saw that you are listing the 909244 engine as a 901/06. The Tech Spec book gives it as a 901/05 (907001 to 909927). You might want to check the stamping on your engine and correct the ad if it is indeed a 901/05, as I think they are considered more attractive than the 901/06. You may know the story about the 901/05 producing too much power when they swapped to the newer style heat exchangers so they added restrictions in the exhaust to take the power down and not have it too close to the recently introduce 911S. The 901/06 was tamed by other (milder) camshafts and maybe other modifications. The 901/05 without the restrictions should give in excess of 140hp and is rumored to be a very nice motor.
The only thing better than a 1967 911 is a 1967 911S, but a few more dollars. I'm not going to try to sell or buffalo anyone by saying a modified 912 or 911 normal is a better car than an 911S, but considering how this 911 was set up, it's performance and handling characteristics make this early SWB 911 a pleasure to own and drive.
As usual, serious inquires only. No dealers, brokers, tire kickers, low ballers, photo collectors, advice seekers, story tellers, scammers, dreamers or time wasters.
Will consider an un-restored 65-67 SWB 911 as partial trade.
