Here's an interesting looking R-clone for sale with a 2.8 twin plug motor.
Looks like a lot fun......$150K.

That's a really expensive 912 conversion. Some cool details like the radio cover. But is the floor pan visibly spliced together front and middle?

Looks nice enough for a hot rod, but how could you spend $250k building it?

$150k is a LOT of coin for an R Gruppe 912
Even I wouldn't pay that much for a 912!
Various Porsche's
Looks like a nice build, but the money seems off on the build cost and the asking price....for 250k it should have some REAL 911r parts and be built on a 911 tub....also I think the seller needs to check some facts regarding the type of seats and steering wheel used in the 911r.
Still, looks like a nice car, $75k-100k maybe.

Nice car, but built for a quarter of a million dollars??That just doesn't make any real sense. I would expect to see correct wheels, muffler, fuel tank, seats, dash, steering wheel, directional lights, etc., etc., etc., .... Is that rollbar bolted through the carpeting? When someone throws those kind of numbers around in an advertisement, they're just asking for it to be critiqued.
Really nice car though, aside from all the inconsistencies. Nice hotrod when taken at face value.
(I'm stealing that hidden radio dash detail.)
