    CHASING CLASSIC CARS airing EASY meet June 19th

    Just got an email from my buddy Lee informing me that the CHASING CLASSIC CARS episode featuring a visit to EASY will be airing this Tuesday, June 19th.

    ...and based on the teasers, this same episode involves a 356 Speedster Carrera... should be cool.

    Can't wait to see it. Jim said that they were going to postpone airing the segment and combine it with a second visit. It was a fun day and it'll be fun to see how they edit for the show. Great bunch of cars out that day!

    Really not sure how it's going to play out. I figured since this was the season finale and the previews showed nothing of the EASY meet that it was going to air next season. So...who knows?

    My schedule indicates that Chasing Classic Cars will air a feature program on EASY tomorrow night (Tuesday, 10 P.M Eastern Time), on Velocity channel. Don't know if the Speedster is featured.

    My program guide calls the episode "A Gift for Roger" and features the Porsche powered minimalist VW Beetle hillclimb car. I can't wait to see this!!

    Jens, it must be that cool Carrera engined Special that was at the Mt Washington Hillclimb last June. I'm looking forward to seeing the EASY segment too.

    Based on the promo for this week and the last show for the season, we're not going to make the cut. Bummer. Maybe next year!
