thanks for the patience while i figured out (or tried to figure out) how the customs forms were to be attached. Thanks to the buyer for much patience.

Identical to the one on my '68 SWT. Note it has weld nuts rather than the sliding nuts.

Not clear whether original Porsche parts are still available, but a replacement is sold by vendors for $215. Asking $200 plus shipping and paypal.

Okay, the item is finally sold and shipped to Australia.

Now I understand why some folks prefer to avoid international shipping. I think the online instructions were written by people with a complete lack of communications skills. The process is really not that difficult when you see it all complete, but I had to go to the USPS 3 times to double check my work, and each time there was a different set of 'comments' or 'instructions.' Luckily for me, the buyer was very patient.
