    selling My 1972 911s Targa

Hello, I am an avid car collector and 25 years ago bought a Porsche in rough condition from a dealer in Florida. The car had come from the original owner who was from New Jersey. I restored the car over a few years way back when and put it away after only driving it once for 50 miles. Im an Alfa Guy and have not sold a car from my collection ever and in fact the last car collector car I sold was in College in the 70's. It is time to start down sizing and I want to sell this car. My email is John@edwardslabel.com Can anyone suggest the best way to advertise and sell a porsche. I appreciate any guidance. Thanks John

I believe that posting this ad realized your objectives well.....I'm sure this will turn out to be the best 'ad' you place!

    Hi John
I would suggest that you take many pictures of it, including documentation of the restoration, VIN, and color tag. You will also need to establish a price that you want to sell it. Who and how it was restored, and how long it has been sitting will have considerable effect on pricing.

Good luck with the sale, please post here first

    Vin # 9112310164
    Engine # 6320441
There was a number on the transmission but it could be a part #.
    Transmission # 117322485
Can anyone tell me if this is a matching number car? I was confused to look at the plaque where it says Type 911s but in the next box it has an E. Is my car an E or S? I will pay the $115.00 Cert of Authenticity tomorrow. Is that a correct transmission #. If not where is it located. Thanks John john@edwardslabel.com . . .
