    Front inner wheel bearing removal

Size:  59.7 KBCannot get inner wheel bearing of spindel. Obviously it has weldded itself on. How can I pull it off? Also, what is this as it was behind bearing sealName:  imagejpeg_2.jpg

    You'll probably need a bearing separator to get behind the bearing then a two jaw puller to pull against the separator. That part is the spring that goes in the seal lip. The bearing shouldn't have welded it self on unless there was no grease and it got hot, doesn't look blued though.

    When I reassemble, does the spring go behind the seal. That's where i found it. A picture of the seal behind the bearing would be great.

    No, the new seal will have a new spring (its an integral part of the seal). Throw that one away.

    Bob,

    There's a rubber O-ring behind the bearing spacer. Check PET. 999 701 084 50. The spring you found is not that, that's one of the springs from a bearing seal, discard it.

    See this thread for info about the bearing spacer, shown in the SWB version, but certainly present on LWB.
