    Internediate Shaft Cover Plate Finish?

    What is the correct finish for the "steel" intermediate shaft cover plate used on aluminum engine cases? Was it left natural by the factory, or coated / painted? Thanks.

    Dave. They were painted black or everyone I have seen has been black
