Did you check w/ piercemanifolds in Gilroy, CA.

I went there recently and they had in stock what I needed.

Thanks Richard - I'd been in touch with Pierce but they want $45 to ship them to the UK which I think is a bit OTT for 6 small brass parts ...

May be there is a list member in the Gilroy area who can help you out? Or some one who is commuting the 101? They are just off the Leavesley exit. Very easy to stop by and get what you need.

    Andy:

I have learned through the school of hard knocks that it is best to ship internationally with a trackable package. The way I usually use is via USPS Express Mail International. A one pound package to the UK from the US is $43.65 per their calculator online. That shipping price is probably what I would estimate for you to pay if I was going to help you locally (when I was thinking I could). I have not checked UPS nor FedEx as they are not convenient for me. That shipping price might just be your best deal. Hope this helps.

Thanks Richard - I regularly buy/receive parts from the US & don't usually bother with tracking if the value is below $100.

It doesn't make economical sense to me to pay almost 50% of the cost of parts in shipping ... I bought one of Carl Bauer's Lackstift touch-up paint sticks recently & shipping was less than $6.

I'm currently following up some leads in Europe ... but was hoping someone might have some unwanted F3 emulsion tubes laying around gathering dust !
