FS: 3.0 RS Seat (2.8 RSR)

Inspired from this http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...nt-Hockey-Puck thread I'll make this a reverse auction

    Sold

I want to sell my RS/RSR Seat.
It's a genuine seat with all the features only the 3.0 RS / 2.8 RSR Cars had.
It has no headrest reception, and is made of woven glassfibers opposed to the glassfibre mats the standard recaros were made of.
It has RSR / RS leightweight sliders (no sandwich plate 3 Screws instead of 2) inkstamped 22 Nov 1973 in one upper slider.
The seat was in a Car that was serviced by Dätwyler in Zurich sometimes in the past.
It is in original cover on the rear upper left corner are 3 small holes which are not in the directly visible area if mounted in a Car.
I can provide more detailed shots if you are interested.
I am looking for 2500 Euros shipped for this Seat.
It is a bargain if you take the rarity of these into consideration.
These were not sold to the public as an aftermarket item - it is not very likely to find another one considering 109 3.0 RS and 49 2.8 RSR have been built.

It comes off a 3.0 RS, but would this still be in the production time of 2.8 Cars?

That's the last call - if it doesn't sell for that it will be in my seat collection.

I am not complaining, but I don't understand why this really rare thing fetches less than a proper unrestored sport seat of which thousands hve been produced.
I understand that a lot of people are concerned with the "no headrest" feature, but building a hot rod with a rollcage adds the possibility to add the pad.
On a car without Rollcage this seat would look ridiculous anyway.

Happy Holidays of what fun it to ride in ...

I have an RSR passenger side (smaller side bolster) seat shell and sliders for sale if someone wants to make a very rare pair of original race seats.

66S, what makes a passenger side seat different than UAI's?
