I was hoping to find out where the schutz line should be on the rocker. My car had been repainted and has been changed. Car is undergoing a complete restoration.
Thanks!
Erich

Don't have any good shots right now, but I will be seeing the car (#359 in storage) this weekend so I will take the camera along and get some close up shots for you.

21Window, thank you. How about that! Cars #359 and #378 are meeting, when was the last time did that happen - at the factory 48 years ago? Probably built within a couple of days of each other.
John Cramer posted this photo of a 1965 he had. I look at it often to see what was done. Here is the remains of the schutz even after it was media blasted. 21Window a photo of your original car would verify that this is the way it was.

Thanks Bob. That is very telling, one more picture should confirm. I guess the next question will be the color transitions.
Thanks,

21Window,
Outstanding.
Your photos answer so many questions.
Edge of the schultz.
Color edge from body to rocker.
The flattened face of the water drains on the bottom flange of the rocker.
The relationship of the tabs holding the gas heater exhaust pipe.
Exhaust pipe color.
Deco detail on the rockers: round ends without a seam or so tight they look continuous.
Deco's center rubber end detail.
Deco's rubber back gasket.
How smooth and straight the flange from pan to inner rocker is.
Just super documentation. Thank you for all of us that are trying to put an old car back together.
