Thread: any1 using mesh screen filter caps on their carb stacks?

    any1 using mesh screen filter caps on their carb stacks?

    such as Bill B's filters?..

    any issues from street use and associated debris?...

    Thought they would be a nice touch for both show and go on a car that was a weekend /sunny day car....

    I have a similar setup, but have yet to run the car with them. There are a few threads on the subject where others have stated that they disrupt the airflow. I plan to try them and find out for myself...

    thanx for the reply.....

    I have read that on some dyno'd cars there were losses down lo but gains up hi...or vice versa, I cant recall now.

    I havent run them yet.....just ordered them. Hmm...Ill search for the threads.
