I was rummaging around a box of old headlights and found this in what I think was a trim ring to an early Bosch. Is this the unobtainium hollow screw for mounting H1's to the fender?
If so, I'd sure like to find just one more...

John, that should be the screw one would use to mount the headlights to the fender,,,,,if you were then going to mount the painted trim rings. The small screw retains the trim ring to the larger one.

I thought that "this" was the correct headlight mounting screw. Made from brass, the head is 9mm, body is 27mm long.

I didn't think the 2-piece screw for use with painted trim rings came in until the H4 was introduced ...
