    Cam Tool Question

A friend of mine asked me to help him get this out of his shop. He recently bought his partner's share of the business, and has been slowly getting rid of what needs to go. Apparently this is a set of cam wrenches for various 911s. My abilities with the internal parts are severely limited, and I gave up a long time ago pretending to know what I'm doing. I just wanted to make sure that these are in fact cam wrenches for 911s before I advertise them as such.

    Thank you.

    yep

    you have a 46mm crowsfoot
an early pre-80 cam holder (top right)
    a 1981-89 sprocket holder (bottom)
    a 993 sprocket holder (4-pin tool, center)
and looks like some solid tensioners for a 3.6L

not sure what you do with the 3-hole discs with the hex piece, or that little "arm" with the circular things on each end

The pieces that Scott thinks are solid tensioners kind of are, but not really. They're used to tension the chain ramps on 964/993 motors when doing the cam timing. They are tools, though, not parts you'd leave in like solid tensioners.
