    Deck Lid Repair

I'd like know the best way to repair a deck lid with a dent located in the top center area. The owner opened the lid and it hung up on the body resulting in a 3 inch wide depression with a maximum depth of about 1/16 inch. The car is a 72 911. Sorry, I don't have a good picture to share.

Any ideas on cost of repairs?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Hugh

    Ding Guy

    Hmm

Alu or steel --- if it were me? . . . I'd call up the local exotic car emporium --- or Porsche/Ferrari/Lexus franchise . . . + ask for Their Guy. Or a reference

Then give that info to your Mechanic --- tell him to 'get it done' . . . + on his dime

As long as nothing's been torn or punched . . . I'm always amazed at what a good Ding Guy can pull-out/smooth-over

    HtH + good luck

You are in Houston. Jones Autowerkes here in San Antonio has an incredible body guy named Carlos. He is old school hammer and lead guy. It will be perfect. Call cathy, their number is 210-657-1111.
