Tech stumper: where in the car does the fifth plastic plug go?

I guess this could be a warmup for the tech quiz

    999 703 043 40 is a plastic plug, 11mm diameter.

Four are found at the top of the rear bumper horns, SWB or LWB.

The fifth appears to go near the torsion tube, only one?

Does anyone have a photo of this plug in situ? I am baffled.

    Thanks

Not REALLY sure John, but I think one goes in a drain hole(?) at the base of the steering column cover - the one that goes straight in line with the steering bracket through the dash and has two bolts with a single fold over lock tab - I seem to recall there was one just under end closest to the front of the car. Bu**er if I can find a picture though!

Treat this as a guess only!

Mick, sent you a PM to catch up!

Here it is in the diagram, item Nr. 19.

But where does this go in the CAR? I don't remember ever seeing one.

Looks like the plugs that go into the side member inside the cockpit - low down below the base of the B post (see photo from my 66 swb). I assume the holes were there to allow some wax to be put inside the side member ..... but there are two each side, so either the PET is wrong as should shown 4 off, or the mystery continues!
