    Converting to Euro-turn-signals

    Hello,

we recently imported a '67 SWB from California,
    and we installed Euro-lenses.

now the problem is that is is still wired like in the US.
this means the parking lights are lit on the side where the turn signals are working.

is there an easy way to turn this off like unplugging a wire or changing a relay?

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards,
    Johan

Someone with more SWB experience may need to correct me, but on the LWB lights (which I know are very different) you can re-configure the wires in the housing to activate different light sockets. So if they're like the later cars, the same harness is used, just the connections inside the light housing need to be rearranged.

The ROW indicator housing also has a metal separator in between the turn signal and the parking lights, to stop light leaking through

    Hi, Thanks,

we adapted the front indicator housings with the metal separator.
the wiring at the lights is identical to the euro ones.

i think that the "problem" is in the relay or the fuse box.
something is activating those parking lights but the wiring diagrams I have aren't clear enough to see
how the wiring goes over the relays.

    Hello LongRanger,

our boxes and lenses are ok,

it's just the electrical that has to be sorted.

we don't want the running light to be lit together with the turn signal.
this is ok in the US, but not here in Europe.

    Found our solution,

there are wires going from the stalk directly to the fuses of the running lights.

I disconnected those and isolated them.

Think these wires aren't present in Euro-cars.
