    No affiliation, just saw this on my regular ebay searches. Chassis # 302007

    I've seen the car. I've checked the VIN/engine numbers. They are matching. Built July '65 and delivered Ruby Red.

    I am fairly sure those carbs are not Solex, or they are missing some bits.

    They do look like Solex to me. You can see the Solex brackets and they are at the correct position (on weber / zenith / pmo the brackets are different and in a different position). The cross bar is missing and of course the snout of the air cleaner is pointing the wrong direction but that is an easy fix.

    In March '05 this car was bid up to $1034 and not sold

    Just my $.02

    They're Solex's.

    Yes, they are Solexes, but it looks like the fuel recirculating pump is missing. Nice car though!
