The 40 Year Old that isn't "Over the Hill":
1973 Porsche 911E with Factory Sunroof. Silver metallic with black interior. Extremely rare factory sunroof. 1973 is the last year of the venerable 2.4 liter flat-6 with Mechanical Fuel Injection (MFI), with its unparalleled throttle response. Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Factory Recarro seats. 5-speed transmission (915) newly rebuilt by Gordon Ledbetter. New Bilsteins all around. New 911 SC brakes. Stainless steel brake lines. New sway bars. SSI heat exchangers. Factory chrome wheel arches. Factory toolkit. Rebuilt engine with desirable 7R engine case. Carrera chain tensioners, turbo valve covers, MFI rebuilt by Gordon Ledbetter. This Porsche contains the right parts and in the case of upgrades, I have the original parts.. Garaged always. Clear title in hand. If you're a serious shopper, contact me to set-up a test drive and discover why the 911E is the model preferred by enthusiasts.

What's a Recarro?
So at the risk of offering Frank something to pounce on... Were all early 911 seats (including comfort seats) from Recaro? I'd thought when I read Recaro in an early car, it referred to factory sport seats.

Yes, all 911 seats were manufactured by Recaro. The sport seats were optional, but also built by Recaro. Agree, not everyone knows that the regular seats were built by Recaro, but they certainly were. An easy check is if you read the knobs it will say it.
Very cool. Learned something new. Thanks.
