Door Locks hard to open/close, not now

In working on my 73's door pockets I removed the door panel and vapor barrier. I thought it a good time to go after why the door lock and the plunger were so hard to move.

Whether with the key outside or operating the plunger inside, they were very hard to move.

I finally blasted the lock mechanism with Tri-Flow several times and now both from inside and outside they click and move easily. Must of been years of accumulated crud.

    Nice. Click, click. Like new.
