Those are aftermarket Amco nudge bars. They made front ones too.

Porsche also made front and rear nudge bars, but they had single horizontal cross-members attached to the bumperettes... very rare. I have a rear unit that came on my car from the factory.

Pick up an old Road & Track or Car and Driver from the late 60's or early 70's and your sure to find an ad for these Amco bars.

Just to clarify; the Amco bars, like the ones in your photo, are not worth much. However, the Porsche nudge bars are far more rare, and worth considerably more.

I have rear bar that is bent up a bit. Is it worth taking to a swap meet or toss it in the scrap iron pile?

If your bar looks like this:

I'd say it's worth fixing. I've seen them go for anywhere between $500 and $1,200 in varying condition.

No, sadly it's like or is an Amco. Sorry, I should have specified.
