Haggerty's evaluation tool is a good starting point......but there are a lot of determining factors; overall condition, originally, numbers matching, documentation / history, etc.

Interesting question, ever since I bought my 66' about 4 months ago, I haven't seen one for sale.

It is now red which is the original color. It is a European model. Came from Glockler Porsche. All original drivetrain, original interior including radio. it has been painted once.. dash is original no tares. Carpets replaced. All stock muffler ,wheels, bumpers etc.. I'm thinking 50-60k?- I have a chance to purchase but not sure what to offer- any recent sales? The Haggerty prices are too high! thanks

Data on good '66's is somewhat limited.

Being a 66 owner, I watch the sales on that year closely. There have been a number of 65 build date '66 Model Year (solex carb), cars trading hands recently, and they are going for strong money. I don't think that Hagerty is too far off in their values.
