Isdera Autobahnkurier 16cyl with Porsche 911 dials

I saw that strange car in 2013 at the OGP Nurburgring meeting.
Not really pretty car but it doesn't leave you neutral.

Some kind of Stutz: One-off brand new "Isdera Autobahnkurier" 16cyl by german sportscar maker Isdera, owned&built by the factory owner himself. He started 1971 with Porsche went later to AMG and now runs Isdera.
16 cyl engine (two 8cyl MB engine connected) 600hp. Based on a stretched VW Beetle (look close!).
Two starter for two engines plus…Porsche 911 VDO dials.

    (source MK classic)

for those doesn't know, Isdera builts otherwise sleek modern looking sports cars, based on MB.

Generic VDO dials, made to order with custom logo's. Wiesmann a.o. used them too, in the early days.

Eberhart Schultz is the name of the Isdera CEO and the car is nicknamed the "Tirpitz" famous WW2 german battleship. ISDERA or Ingenieurbüro for Styling, DEsign und Racing.
the cabin of the car is based off a VW beetle. the two installed MB engines are synchronized (more a push pull set up). the car hauls A%&!
Eberhart was the studio engineer at Porsche Styling. always a tinkerer and a great craftsman. his calling card toPorsche was a Ford GT 40 replica that he built from scratch because he could not afford to buy a real one. most likely the first GT40 replica ever built. that was 1970.
    regards, H.
