A lot of odd (poor execution) details... makes you wonder about the things you can't see.
Asking is close to 200.000,-- EUR
911 S 1967 and ...
E911 - I am curious about your post "poor execution details"
Have you seen the car in person? Please be specific for the benefit and education of the less informed......
Thanks
C
Nothing dramatic, but the wipers shouldn't be black, the wooden dash shouldn't be that shiny (why do they do that), engine bay stickers should have the red border, seats should be pleated in the center part (and hopefully the leather or vinyl looks better in the flesh), etc....It's advertised on the VSOC site: http://www.vsoc.nl/collection/porsch...tre-1965-white
As I read once somewhere: "it doesn't require more work to make it right in the first place". Worth a closer look nevertheless!
So true. This is our shop Mantra.
Nothing dramatic? I don't know; I would say Zenith carbs rather than Solex is a big deal. Add $12k. The dash wood is definitely "over restored". One should almost "feel" the grain in it.
Seriously for this kind of money the car should be very close to spot on.
At least it's not a 912 Frank![]()
Tough crowd...
