Save the date: Hill Country Rally April 29 - May 1, 2011

Plans are now in the werks for the 10th Hill Country Rally, details will be posted on this thread as they are developed.

Stefan has made his first weekend scouting trip and Jamie will soon be heard across the Hill Country finding some of his famous routes to include water crossings and cattle guards.

Just watch out for the stray chickens and goats and the occasional long horn.

Bummer, it looks like I will miss this event again this year. :(

Too bad this drive is not in the Fall. I have another event I am attending a week later and I don't think I can justify two long trips within two weeks.

I know you guys will have fun. Take lots of pics, so I can see what I am missing. :)

OH boy! Another fun one to put on the calender. Can't wait to see everyone again.

Now should we turn left or right at those cattle gaurds? How do you guys feel about dirt roads? :D

As long as we can get a squared up shot at them you pick. Just hate when the road moves (rolls) under me.

About the dirt roads, didn't we do that a few years ago?

It will be really tough for me to make it this year. My wife's due date with our TWINS (boy and girl) is Late April - Early May. Glad we have the winter gathering planned in mid-February... this may be my one shot this year until the fall.

Although, If were to make it out to the Hill Country with everyone and get a call that she had started labor, I could probably get back to the Woodlands in about 2hrs or quicker ... police escort !?! =)

The Texas Porsche friends of the R Gruppe and Early S invite all our friends and Porsche fans to joins us for the 10th anniversary of the Texas Hillcountry Rallye.It will be held from the 29th April to the 1st May in German fashion ( Auspuffgluehen und Tanz in den Mai ) and in the "German" town of Fredericksburg in the Hillcountry.A cute town with lots of shopping,food wine and beer.
Rooms are reserved in an old fashioned Motel, so we can sleep next to our cars and the more come the more the place is ours.....PS pets are allowed.
We hope many of you can join us to drink beer, enjoy German food,taste Texas wine and challenge the Texas Hillcountry roads and meet new and old friends.
