Any suggestions on what to use to refinish the black on factory steering wheels? It seems to have some gray to it - gloss black is too black.

Anyone....Bueller?
I've used Rustoleum Pro Semi Gloss Black....close
Would the satin black used on Fuchs (and probably elsewhere) be closer? Wurth, or more easily found Rustoleum Satin Black #7777, I believe. I used the Rustomleum on my Fuchs and it's holding up well, so I assume it would be okay on the wheel.
I've got a wood-rimmed wheel in the '68 and myself, I keep the wood in as good a shape as possibly, but leave the wear on the metal as "patina."
Dave,
Here is what Krylon Rust Tough Enamel in a Semi-Flat Black #9203 looks like.
Tangerine....that looks great!....very nice looking dash and wheel.....John
Funny you should post this Dave. I was just going to order the Wurth Satin Black from PP today to do my RS wheel. I tried the Wurth flat black and it looks terrible. I am not too keen on the Wurth price tag and shipping from CA, so I may try to find the Krylon that Tangerine mentions. I am interested in what direction you go as well.
