Am unfortunately finding that I strongly prefer cars with original VIN sticker on the jamb and it seems MANY are showing overspray/bleeding on the sticker. Have found some great cars that had this and felt really bummed to discover it. Have come to realize that NOT painting the jambs is a good thing (yes, i'm a bit slow).
So, in the event i find a car i otherwise like is there a way to clean up bleeding on the sticker without damaging it? I imagine there would also be a 'ridge' of paint around it as well but perhaps others have dealt with this already?
Would love to hear of a way to mitigate this issue.
Thanks,
Erik
