Did some cleaning, glass bead blasting and painting. Did not take much time and very satisfying to see the result. Now to put it back togheter....(did a drawing)

Nice. I really gotta get me a blasting cabinet and a real air compressor. It's great stuff doing cool little projects like that.

Rivets ever make it there?
Eric, yes I got the rivets and thank you very much. The make a much better look then the rivets I had (with a hole in the center).
911sc, I used WD40. I have read that one can get some color back if faded with shoe polish and also a guy used 1500 grit sand paper with WD40 to make it nice and black/shiny again.

Looks great! Fine steel wool does a nice job on the wire loom as well.
