I saw this car when picking up a set of '68 sport seats I bought from John. While I did not spend a lot of time going over the car, it did seem VERY nice. :)

Thanks for the plug, Bill. Please send me a photo of your car w/ the new seats installed. John

Here is a link to another '76 Carrera RS that is currently for sale. Not mine, but just trying to open some eyes to what the only other one known for sale is going for. $110,000.00 theirs vs. mine @ $78,500.00.

JP, that Brown car looks familiar, but I can't place it...I will say, I like YOURS a whole lot better. Good luck with the sale. I kind of LOVE the 74-76 Euro Carrera's.

I agree John this is another nice one!

I wonder if the Brown Carrera 2.7 at the FL dealer is this one that Jack M. and EC had at one time?

From the European Collectibles ad,"...The Porsche Master Mechanic who rebuilt the engine stated that the engine produce 212 PS DIN horsepower when it was checked out on their dynamotor. It was estimated that the engine would produce about 220 PS horsepower (equal to 242 SAE horsepower) after it was broken in. After 1,000 kilometer break-in, this car was driven on the German Autobahn at speeds in excess of 160 MPH."
I have driven many 2.7 MFI Porsche 911's, and I don't know exactly what there is to this specific year/model to make it any different (maybe the transmission and gearing?), but this car hauls like almost no other. I believe the 160MPH plus claim. My RS rips up to 240 Km/Hr. like no one's business.
