Help with value on a 2.2E MFI motor

I'm not sure which forum a request for value should be in so please correct me if I am wrong. This is not a for sale post but once I establish a value, I will make a new post describing the sales info.

The details.... 2.2E motor. Complete with all the original MFI. Was a previous R-gruppe runner ;) I just did a leakdown yesterday before I pulled the motor and it was 8-10% accross all cylinders. I'm sure there is some variation between testers but my mechanic who loaned me the tester, said 10% was very good on his guage. No significant leaks that I recall. It has had all proper service, a rebuild 20,000 miles ago. Both Jeff Higgins and I drove it side by side to my bone stock '71E and this motor pulls a lot harder so I would bet it is rebuilt to S spec or has some other tricks done to it. Jeff Higgins also waved his magic wand over the MFI so it starts, idles and runs VERY WELL!

Any thoughts on value? Its a turn key motor with no issues.

I have seen prices for complete unkept engines with no history go for the $3-5k range. Motors with good leak down numbers and prior rebuild with all paperwork (incl rebuild of MFI) $8-10k. What I read is a motor in between these figures $5-8k. I think if it were mine, I'd try to get near the $8k number, but realize that you may have to come down if it doesn't sell as fast as you like. Where are you located?
