if this black thing i am seeing is a plastic cover then webasto is not 68
the door handles are 67?
on my 68 the front stabilizer push rods where black..but i have seen yellow as well
also not so sure about the rear axle blades in yellow
the painted black on the rockers looks a bit to low
the fuchs are 67 4,5 paint sceme not correct for 68
nice pics..but this you know anyway
If it's a T, shouldn't it have narrow bumper deco and also below door deco? Sport seats should both be drivers sides, but who cares.... nice pic!
Agree with all the above....Koni shocks and struts of that era were a brownish orange...actually very similar to the Webasto.
67 chrome trim gauges? Your rubber brake handle boot looks like the wrong one, I make the correct one ;).....
Why bother with a replica?
Engine fan strap should be black painted with gold foil decal.
Oil filler should be yellow with silver cap
Stub axles should be black oxide. If you use black zinc, which is a good anticorrosion option, be sure to first bead blast the axles, then black zinc, then have the plater bake to avoid hydrogen embrittlement. Also be wary of tolerance buildup e.g. the splined connection will be a LOT tighter.
Why is the nose cone of the gearbox a different color than the rest of the box?
Brake calipers are silver.
Cool picture, small little details are not perfect but so what nobody is totally perfect, and if someone does do something perfect then another person will likely come along and interpret it differently.
First of all I would like to thank everyone for your comments.
Secondly, I want to apologize for making some of you think the picture was from my car.
It is not in fact.
It is just a reference photo I have on my files.
