Saw this on Craigslist. A real 911S but with a T engine. Sounds really nice otherwise (one-owner, records, etc.). He's asking $12,700...said firm in the ad but seemed more flexible on the phone. If you have a '69 S engine sitting around, this would be an excellent opportunity.

Yeah, I got those pics too. I was all excited about it until he told me it had a T engine. I didn't find out where in LA he lives. If it's close to me I wouldn't mind checking it out for you.

It's almost worth that price sight unseen, even with the T engine. It'll be gone this weekend.
Perhaps...but has any one heard the phrase: "If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is?" This car needs to be looked at...

I will agree with pwds72, its been for sale already for a week, since we know about it, and still for sale, no body has taken it, so i must think , theres something wrong? or its just plain paranoia from the buyers part. From the pics and being far away it looks good, even thought it does not have the orig eng, but ... will see how it turns out, if i hadnt so much cars i would go for it, take a chance, if some one sees it give us some info, Its in L.A.

Evren may miss on this one, since he's not going to be near his computer over the weekend. The poor guy has tough duty as a ticket holder to the F-1 race in Istanbul, passes to the events surrounding the race, etc. :cool:
