I looked for a basic seat ID thread and didn't find one...so I need help dating some early recaros. I know some of the tell-tale visual cues as blacked out hinges for 72-73 and the release at the top of the 69 seats. But I get lost discerning the differences between SWB and LWB seats. I will pull my seats out of the boxes and take some pics shortly. I am hoping these to be correct for my 70 coupe. In the meantime if there is a thread I missed...feel free to post links.

Those releases didn't appear until early in the 71 model year. They are quite different than the releases in 1969 and 1970. I need to see the bottom of the seats to pin down model years 72 and 73. They will fit just fine in your 71 but the only thing the is the same are the 2 release levers and the headrests.
