SWB transition metal meshed oil tubes to rubber only oil tubes - when?
When checking all my pictures for the orange/white/black?? foam tubes in the engine compartment, I recogniced, that the early cars had metal meshed oil tubes which are connected to the oil tank.
Cars delivered 1968 and later had rubber only oil tubes as far as I know.
Anybody out there who knows more about that topic?
Did the mesh rust away or was the production changed?
