Very nice Paul. Just curious, what differentiates an 'S' clutch and why?
Thanks,
Mike
'67S/'68S clutch pressure plate had an alloy clamping plate with copper mating surface but used a std thickness clutch disc.
'69S used a similar pressure plate with an alloy clamping plate but with a steel mating surface & a unique thinner (approx 6.5mm) clutch disc.
That would be a 1967 911S pressure plate; due to copper facing.
My guess is that the 4 spring friction disc is 914/4 which I understand is functionally the same as a standard 911 disc. I always upgraded my 914`s to the 911 6 spring discs, and had no trouble. The 1969 911S friction disc is always 6 spring in my experience.
sold to claudius and heading overseas-thanx
