RS doors
Continued from the for sale thread on the RS doors.
Here are a couple pics. First one shows the nutserts to mount the interior grab handle. The left hole is original, the right side fell off at some point.
2nd picture shows how the nutserts were installed. It would be very difficult to counterfeit this.

I have had a look at a thin gauge door today,there are no large slots in the bottom only the 3 small standard drain slots.

That is what I thought too. Those slots were cut by a previous owner.
Many years ago when I first bought 451, I wanted to take the speakers out of the standard door panels a PO had installed. So I when I removed them I was pleased to see the screws still in place where the plastic handles were mounted, as well as holes around the perimeter where the 'lightweight' panels were briefly fitted. Seeing this was proof this car had been through the homologation process after production, but before conversion to M472.

The nuts are captured or caged nuts not nutserts, so they will rattle if not screwed down. Gled
