They are mounted into the rear bumpers and valance with screws that need holes drilled for them.
Don
And just in case someone has one for sale I need one too according to my COA.
And to get back on topic if nessecary I could photograph the install of this skirt for you. There is one on a car that I will likely see within the month.
Bob
Bob, here's a skirt
Skirt
But I'm sure it won't be cheap.
Good luck
Henry,
I'm easily confused as to which 'skirts' are the more expensive !
Please clarify.
Cheers,
Dennis.
Just an FYI....
The guy that's offering the skirt on Ebay doesn't know whether it's an LWB or SWB skirt...and their IS a difference!!! I've emailed him, and hopefully he'll provide me with a measurement to determine what he has....
Eric
Dennis, there might be other more expensive types, but at least with this one, you'll be happy every time you see it.Quote:

That's a good piece of information, I didn't know there was a difference.
Seller states it fits LWB cars 69-73 however there is no part # on the item/ should this option part have a part #? anyone know from their parts manual what the #is/should be? Asking a lot of $$$ for the part.
Did they ever get painted as on this 356 example?
Seller emailed me...it's a perfect fit to his 73, so it's an LWB model.....
LWB part # 901 505 904 00
I've never seen a painted muffler skirt on a 911.....
