It might be easier to post pictures of your problem Xavier.
I thought about that approach, but...I do not wish to influence the topic :D
The thing is that the gap before the dismount of the front fenders was not the one after the new paint/reassembly.
My body shop argues that now this is the normal gap, and I found it awful and definitely not like the one before the operation. I find it now too "big" and not in harmony with the rest of the door/front fender gap.
This is the reason why am asking the fellow members here to show me their gaps ;)

shure, but your body parts are allready painted. right?
start with the doors to body, center hood loose, then fender to door and hood, align hood again, front bumper, turnsignall housings, lense, horn grills,....
Targa? My personal observation is that Targas run wide at the rear gap, along the latch panel.
