can aluminum trim pieces for windshield be reused

I just installed a new dash in my 71 Targa, much improvement over my old one with 5 cracks. I ordered dash, new seal, aluminum trim and connectors from Stoddard and the dash looks great. I used the new aluminum trim and connector pieces but the old ones came out intact and unbent. Though they are scratched up, can they be restored and reused or do I just toss them? New, these 4 parts were about $200 with shipping.

Yes, they can be and often are reused. Not worth restoring but if someone needs / wants original..

I believe they are anodized and to have them re "plated" is costly. Watch out "straightening" new ones (as they never come in shape) they will craze! Stoddard's own units are much better than factory pieces on this subject.
