Matthew Mariani Porsche Restoration

I'm starting a thread for some projects I'll be starting soon. They're all early 911s.
The rendering below i did for a customer from New Jersey who has a non matching originally Light Ivory '67.(now rust with metallic silver colored)
He'd like to restore and paint his '67 in a vintage VW green he loves. I advised we paint this car in single stage enamel like I always do so the car isn't too shiney and therefore incorrect looking.
Steve is a family man and has a small budget for body and paint at $13,000 so this will be a push for me to be very efficient with his money.
I'll post pics of his car soon which is pretty rough.

This was a Bahama Yellow 69 911 T. Got the Miami Vice treatment some time ago. My customer is deciding whether he wants to bring it back or pass it along.
It's a matching numbers car.
He already has a '72 S.

Gettin close to enjoying this lightweight, inexpensively built driver. That's the best kind of old Porsche imo.:-)9

I was never a 912 guy but I'm pretty excited about trying
this car.
The 2 liter 4 should make 140 BHP.
I can't wait to weigh this SWB Porsche.

68 is complete and a blast at 1780 w a 1/2 tank.
Starting the 911E soon, I looked up the previous owner and recovered many original parts including its MFI.
MFI is serial numbered to this car which makes this very nice.

Yes, off a 911E and with their original finish. Very light as we all know. I like the look best with a lot of sidewall on a SWB car.

This car handles like it's on rails.
