Finishing up the braking system on my '70E project. Wondering if I have the location correct for the exit of the master cylinder overflow tube and also what type of fitting /grommet I should be using for the tube exit.
My '70E project is the red car. I also have a '73 (orange car) where it looks like the grommet is a simple plug with a hole bored into it.
What is the right way to do this?
It should be a black rubber grommet that fits into the lower of the two holes . I've never seen a hole punched into the plastic plug on an original car like in the picture of the '73 .
Thanks.....The orange car is a hot rod so not original. I figured it had to me a black grommet.
I think I've got it right now. Helps to explain why I only had (3) of the plastic plug from my disassembly.

What did you use for tubing Tom?
McMaster Carr - PVC Tubing for Chemicals 4 mm ID, 6 mm OD, 25 ft. Length
Have a long length left over should you or anyone need some.
Hi Tom, If the '72 uses the same setup I could use whatever length your car took. How much would you want for it? Plus shippimg of course.
