For sale is the pair of heater valve clamps/actuators. I just had them re-clear zinc plated and they come with the correct hardware with correct finishes. These are 13mm wide - not sure what years these are for, maybe someone wiser can share this information, thanks! $45 shipped in the CONUS

You have touched on a trivia point that I haven't settled for myself. First, what years are the 10mm wide ones for (I think maybe pre-'74), and what years are the 13mm wide ones correct for (possible later)? I have reasonably good information that the early ones should be yellow zinced. Even if clear zinced, I get that all fasteners on 911s were originally yellow zinc. I am not convinced that the later ones should be clear zinced. I hope someone wiser than I can chime in on this.

Generally speaking, except for some parts on very early 911s, i think most is yellowish plating, cad or other. Porsche 356s were the last in 1965 where zinc (silver in color) was used. No "yellow" plating on 356s ! Franz can amplify?! Thanks.Quote:
