This Saturday is the first Saturday of the month. We had a few people show up last Saturday not realizing that it was the last Saturday of September, not the first Saturday of October.
Starts at 9:00AM but get here before 8:00 is you want a parking place on Harlan St. Plenty of parking is available on Park St (just to the north of us, in front of Pixar Studios) and is only a few yards away. In fact, there are probably more cars parked in the overflow on Park St. than are parked on Harlan St. The weather is going to be very pleasant with a cool, fog free morning followed by temps in the mid 70s. The first couple of weeks in October are typically the Bay Area's best weather and this year appears to not be the exception. Fresh ground, fresh brewed coffee and Doughnuts are provided at no charge. Hope to see many of you Saturday.

It was a phenomenal morning at EASY yesterday.................great attendance, wonderful new cars, a wonderful mix of old friends and folks to chat with - perfect! I am not able to contribute a lot of photos this time around because I was simply too busy talking to friends I hadn't seen in a while and thoroughly enjoyingthe beautiful morning.

Photo #1 one shows Harlan Street at 7:58 AM when I arrived..........mind you, that's even before the actual, official opening of the event.

The remainder of the photos of this 1st set are of what I consider the most interesting and innovative car at EASY yesterday. An '87 'Shorthood' with a 480 cu. in. LS3 Corvette motor, hooked up to the stock G50 gearbox, making 410 HP at the rear wheels on the dyno. A well thought-out, engineered and executed hot-rod that must be an absolute blast to drive.

This 'short' second set starts out with some non-Porsche cars to illustrate just how universally popular and accepted the EASY 'Cars and Coffe' 1st Saturday-of-the-month' has really become. A pre-war Packard, an old but very nicely preserved truck and an extremely rare and valuable '32 Alfa-Romeo 8C2300 that one of the Trenerys,(the owners of Fantasy Junction ) brought over.

Concluding with another 'short' set after our mandatory walk to Fantasy Junction to view their delectable inventory.............some very special cars, and some I'd love to drive home. Please forgive the distortion, but due to the close quarters in order to fit all the cars into the showroom, I was forced to use an extreme wide-angle lens....and they distort, period.

The 'Ice Blue' Ferrari 250 GT SWB is a ravishingly nice example of my personal favorite Ferrari, and the final shot of a very rare and special ( only 80 ever made ) aluminum bodied '67 Ferrari 275 GTB with a beam of sunlight through the skylights illuminating the sublimely elegant and sexy tail-end.
