Imagine my surprise when my speedo stopped suddenly and I was looking at the worm gear of the angle drive unit rather than its (poly?) endpiece!
I guess after 49 years it is entitled to disintegrate. Please let me know what you have.

I fixed my v drive with a dime to hold the beveled gear in the drive case. It worked Attachment 548262Attachment 548263quite well
