Need a couple of dimensions to fab a tow bar

I'm going to flat tow my soon to be re-acquired 67 911S and I need a couple of dimensions so I may fabricate a tow bar. Picture shows what I am going to retreive.

What I need are:

• The distance between the front torsion bar tubes, this is a center to center distance. It can be taken as the distance between the front bolts on the cover caps or a distance between the tubes plus the diameter of the tubes.
• I also need a good diameter dimension of the tube itself. This would be an outside diameter.

By the way, I have towed using this approach in the past and I am comfortable with it.

Paul, I really dig all you do for our cars but may I ask why on earth you would want to put a tow bar on what you are going to retrieve?
That little yellow demon is UBER Cool.

Tow bar is convenient and is 100% removable without modification to the car.

OK, I found the centerline dimension I need so I only need the diameter of the A-arm tube.

Centerline dimension appears to be 656mm from a drawing I found but for some reason I cannot attach.

Dimensions have been received from a member so thanks to all who looked at this for me!

Thanks Ernie, I found that one already. I've changed my attachment plans to pick up the three M8 bolts at the cap that is the forward bushing cover. That is what I did previously and it worked for a 500 mile round trip.
