My rubber grommet that is part of the external oil door release mechanism has disintegrated. The part number is 999-702-072-50 but it is NLA. Has anyone found a substitute that fits/works?
Thanks

Thanks. Are you telling me that they are no longer available or that you found them some other place.
Thanks
Mike
Jimmy, sent you a pm.
Jimmy,
How do I buy some from you. I saw a post that said you sent me a PM but I didnt find any. As you can tell I am new to the forum so maybe I am missing something here :)
I would like to order a few, do you have any idea of a shelf life?

I believe that you need to have more than 10 posts before you can send PM's. If you want to post your e-mail I will send you information about purchasing them.

The standard rule of thumb for molded polyurethane parts is that they last 3-5X longer than rubber. They also have improved resistance to abrasion and petrochemical exposure.
