For my 71 2.5 engine w/ limited slip , made for more aggressive driving but no track
Definitely using my original 15” rims ,so that’s somewhat limiting but…
Thinking 0ffset tires 195 front 205 rear but hard to find in same brand?
Or just go 195 all around ?
Seems very limited Mfg’s for tires not the fat original style
What’s recommendations

Best package currently available that's historically accurate and perform well is Pirelli CN36, 185/70R15 fronts, 215/60R15 rears... on 7s & 8s, this is basically the RS set up. About $1400 bucks from Stoddard.

I think you mean 6s and 7s. Also, the 215/60s are pretty tough to fit...YMMV
Frank, to stay with 15's (assuming stock 6x15 all round), your choices are limited. Most likely, you will need a square setup.Quote:

Some like to use a 205/55-15 tire but I tried that and disliked the look and hated the fact my speedo was incorrect and the shift points were "weird". You can also fit a 205/60-15 all round but you seem to be limited to tires suitable for a minivan.
For me, ultimately, I ended up getting 4 6x16 Fuchs and put 205/55-16 tires all round. I use my car for HPDE, Autocross, and touring. For a while, I put 205/50-15 Hoosier SM's on my car for Autocross and a street tire on my 16's for HPDE and street.
Currently, I am using Toyo R1R's for everything as my Hoosiers are dead. The prior street tire, which I also liked, was a Continental ExtremeContact Sport.
7's are tricky to fit unless you go with something like a 7R wheel.Quote:

I recently went to 185/70 Avon CR6zz tires all around… they aren’t quite as pretty as the CN36s they replaced, but holy hell do they grip… I like them a lot.
the P6000 comes in 195/65 15 you could put those on you 7" and 6" wheels
also i have seen XWX 185/70 15 on 7" wheels

No, 7s and 8s... using these on a 914/6 GT until the Michelin TB15s are finally available again. But yeah, tight unless on 7R wheels and even then, some flare or fender roll is required. What I meant is the RS package.Quote:

For reference, Avon makes a ZV7 tire that is offered in the EU in my preferred sizing (above). I have considered trying to import these, but haven’t gone through the process.
I have also considered going down to 205/55 where Yoko has a nice Advan offering and Dunlop offers a Direzza. Trying to keep the larger sidewall appearance, but performance options have all but disappeared in the 205/60 subset. :(
