Early (deep) 6R Fuchs with hearts?

Hi,

For many, many years I am driving on a set early 6x15 Fuchs.
My confusion is what type of rims these are?
The reason is that there are only date stamps near the center hole, 11-67.
There is no ‘metal inprint’ in the spokes or an ink stamp. I also have a younger set of 6x15 and they have oll the inprints in the spokes including rim size and 901 numbers.

Also when I compare the inside (rear side) between older and newer rims the forging looks different.

Does anyone can enlighten me on this as I always thougth that only the deep 7R’s had ink prints and buffed away inpprints in the spokes!?

Deep six wheels from 67 are very very rare. And yes they are the 6R wheels. Used for rallye cars in those days. Can you show us some pictures?

you wrote "a set". Do you mean that you have 4 of them?
The difference with the standard 6J's is the weight. I think they weigh about 150 grams less then the standard rims.

Spun out of the 5.5 blocks, right? Like the 7R spun out of the 6 block.

Yep I am located in the Netherlands (Enschede).

I will clean them tomorrow and post some pics!
They are pretty flawless.
I have 4 of them and were on my car when I purchesed it 28 years back before I did a full nuts & bolts restoration myself.
2 or are from 67 and 1 or 2 are from 68.

Probably, yes. They kept making 7R into 1970 at least.

When they started making the regular deep six for the 69MY there wouldnt have been a real need to keep making 6R out of the 5.5 blocks. In my opinion at any rate.

Any idea what a fair price would be for such a rim from 11-67?
I wil maybe sell 2 of them.
Will post pics tomorrow after a bit of cleaning.
Dis they also received ink stamps like 7R’s

No, not really. Of course condition being most important.

Just to be sure that I have the deep 6R’s, does anyone knows their weight so I can check?
Have been searching for a while but found some different answers till now….
