Another SWB back on the road

Long time lurker, hopefully a contributing member moving forward. After almost 4 years, she is back on the road after a case split full rebuild and bare metal respray (rust). This car has been in the family since I was a little kid and I'll never forget the smell and sound of riding in it as a 11 year old. The electrics are a bit dodgy after being off the road for ~25 years so I'm going through and cleaning corrosion off the fuses etc. I currently have no turn signals or taillights. I've searched the forum but how do you replace the corner light bulbs and tail light bulbs on a 68 911L? The lenses are plastic welded in and I can't figure out another way in without cutting the tabs.

Pull the housings out and then the bulbs are replaced by lifting out the white plastic bulb holders from the top.

Ed's recommendation worked. Car lived next to the Atlantic for 20 years so the contacts are pretty crusty, especially the bulbs. Running new Konis all around with stock torsion bars/sways that I refitted. 36 degrees on rear spring plate unloaded. Might go a smidge lower depending on how she does navigating the roads around here. Running 185/70 vredsteins on the stock 5.5 Fuchs.

195/55 on 16x6" here. I would not lower yours. In a certain way close to stock is more fun to drive than the stiff thing I have.

I noticed the wing window missing. As somewhat of a neophtyte I didn't want to mention it. I did get schooled at a CnC for having 69 door handles by a Concours guy. Kept my mouth shut about his carbs weeping gas onto the tin.

The resto shop that did body/paint ran out of time putting it back together so I came home with some parts to install. Finishing the door this week.
