Disappointed to hear that Essess Magazine is going fully digital. There’s just something different about flipping through a physical magazine. The weight of the pages, the pause between articles, the absence of pop-ups or notifications. Digital has its place, but still feels like a loss. One more piece of the analog world giving way to the endless scroll.
If this is the case, then all of the back issues should be digitized and made available to paying membership. Membership costs should drop as well given printing and shipping costs will be eliminated.
At one time I had offered my services to index the ESSES provided I was supplied hard copies, which I would return after finishing the job. If it's going digital this should be an easier task.
I am crushed to hear this. I so look forward to the hard copy, that was done so well.
now there will be less of an incentive to be a member of the early 911S registry. I will probably drop out.

just got several boxes back issues from a friend and long therm member(way befor i joined)...love to go through those hard copies---never been a friend of digital reading...
Yep, our local Porsche club went paperless newsletter years ago ( I still have old hard copies and refer to them from time to time ) and into more Facebook and digital club newsletter. I don't bother with either of them and pretty must stay member for club license purposes now days.
We drive analog cars...
I guess no survey of what the members want….
